Nobody slept very well in our house last night. When I finally dragged myself out of bed, and told Aubrey to get dressed for school, she whined, “But Momma, I don’t wanna go to school. I wanna play tooky.”
“Play who?”
“Tooky. I wanna play tooky…you KNOW, when you don’t go to school.”
“Ohhh, HOOKY you want to play hooky.”
“That’s what I SAID, MOM-MA! I want to play tooky!”
And yes…she knows what playing hooky is because we’ve done it before (once.) And YES she is in kindergarten…
I kept Amy and Angie out almost every Friday for our own " field trips". Priceless!!!!
So, did Aubrey play tooky today? Hopefully she'll be attending school tomorrow for show and tell!!
She did play tooky on Thursday but she went on Friday!
