Hey, while Cody and I were in Texas this past week, his parents drove down to eat dinner and spend some time with us. They drove down in their new Acadia and it was SO fabulous!! I still believe that you should look into one of those (if they still make them) instead of resorting to the mini-van!!! I would LOVE one of those one day when we have kids!! :)
I judged my sister's messy car, and every mini driving van Mommy, and have lived to regret it. I now loathe my fancy 4 door sedan I purchased with our DINK income, and am begging for a more practical Mommy car. And I want the DVD player - after saying for years that I would never use one in the car. My how things change! And yes - my fancy car is now covered in goldfish, toys, sippie cups, and who know what else.
Yes, every time I drop Annabelle off at preschool in the carpool line, I am reminded that my mini-van might be a scary place for one of the random preschool helpers that gets my daughter out of the van. Toys, crumbs, leaves (this time of year), papers, shoes, etc., and it really doesn't matter that we do attempt to clean it out often!
