Thanks to Sadie’s hard work today, my second book is completed and ready to be sent to my agent! I appreciate prayers, happy thoughts and good karma that my agent falls in love and can sell it quickly. (All you writers who realize “quickly” can mean a couple of years, give me an “Amen!”)
(Most writers post pictures of their cats curled around their laptops… *sigh*) Pray for me and my family. I’ve just made the executive decision to finish my second book in the next 10 days. It’s a very achievable goal if I only get up from my desk to change diapers and pass out food. Fights will have to resolve themselves. I’m focused people. Just wanted to update all my peeps out there about my book deal. I just got an email from the World’s Greatest Agent Jenny Bent with notes and revisions to be made. I’ll be working on this…um, until I’m finished and then the ball will be back in her court. I am feeling very encouraged and inspired after getting her feedback, and I am looking forward to the whole book “process.” If you like reading the blog you should be excited too.
