I Love Yoga. A Vlog. (Sort of a long one. Sorry.)

Alright, this was my first “by request” vlog about my “yoga journey” as requested by Sarah Jane Stanley. It felt really gooby to say some of that stuff out loud. But WHATEVAH. Send me your requests for vlog posts to robinschicks(at)gmail(dot)com!!

Here is the link to the article I talk about in the vlog:

Stop and Breathe

I am just starting yoga. However since I live out in the boonies I just bought a mat and a dvd. That’s what I mean by just starting. I bought a mat and a dvd… I have not actually USED the mat or the dvd, but they are here in my home. Baby steps. Also you have the cutest accent evah! :)

I recently started a yoga class and I LOVE it! It has taught me so much about dealing with stress. I am a stay at home Mom with a 2yr old and a 4yr old, my husband severely broke his leg and has been home for 6 weeks. (only 6 more weeks to go!) Needless to say, I get a bit over whelmed at times! Yoga has taught me how to breath through the stress. I am amazed by how much better I feel since starting yoga! The best part about it is that I feel like I’m getting a work out without hardly breaking a sweat!! Thank you for inspiring me! I love your blog and your vlog!

So–I’m using your vlog as motivation for thinking about getting ready to maybe start a vlog of my own. Here’s what I like about yours:

    1. No fancy makeup, eyelashes, hairdo. That has been a BIG stumbling block for me. I’m totally intimidated by the professional blowouts and false lashes some are sporting.
    2. You just talk. No perky, canned performance. It’s just Robin…and I can certainly do just Jane.
    3. Your personality shines through…probably because of numbers 1 and 2. I like that. I feel I could do that too.
    4. You talk about Whatever. Hey, wasn’t that a suggestions of mine? I can talk about Whatever too.

Don’t know when I’ll hit the record button but wanted you to know that this is another way in which CA’12 is working its magic.
